Historiquement construits par des médecins cherchant à améliorer les outils informationnels à leur disposition, ils sont désormais des systèmes d’information complexes, orientés processus, au coeur des systèmes d’information hospitaliers. Gestion des soins par processus, intégration avec la logistique de soin et le relevé de prestation, les défis sont innombrables pour ces industries de la santé que sont les hôpitaux. <strong>Prochainement, ces systèmes devront devenir les maillons d’un réseau de soin national, permettant le partage de données, mais aussi une meilleure utilisation des ressources.</strong> Toutes ces évolutions ne peuvent se faire sans de profondes mutations dans le fonctionnement des hôpitaux, incluant chaque intervenant, du soignant à la gouvernance.
